ReStore Story
French Consulting Company, a Virginia-based development company and leader in the creation of ecologically-minded urban properties, is partnering to purchase shuttered factories throughout North America. These sites have been vacated by the industries that built them, often for 20 years or more, leaving the small municipalities that the factories established responsible for deteriorating complexes of buildings that no longer support local wage earners or businesses.
The goal of acquiring these complexes is to reclaim materials from our industrial past while preserving historically significant structures on each site. Together with our partners, ReStore showcases the first of our efforts to reclaim and restore the Martha Mills Textile Mill in Thomaston, Georgia.
